1. About these terms. This website, tallowroots.co, is operated by Tallow Roots Co. ("Tallow Roots," "we," "us"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Our products. Our balms are handmade cosmetic products for external use on skin. Because each batch is made by hand, color, texture and scent can vary a little from jar to jar and from the photos. Product descriptions are for general information and are not medical advice. Everyone's skin is different: try a small patch first, read the ingredient list, and do not use a product if you are allergic to any ingredient. Keep jars out of reach of children and out of high heat.

3. Orders and pricing. All prices are in US dollars. We may refuse or cancel an order, or limit quantities, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was listed by mistake, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you already paid for, we refund you in full. We may change prices or products at any time, but a change does not affect an order we have already confirmed.

4. Payment. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's checkout and its payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.

5. Shipping, returns and refunds. Our Shipping policy and Refund policy are part of these terms.

6. Accuracy. We try to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it may contain occasional errors. We may correct errors and update information at any time without notice.

7. Content and trademarks. The text, photos, logos and designs on this site belong to Tallow Roots or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

8. Accounts and conduct. You are responsible for the information you give us and for keeping any account password private. Do not misuse the site, for example by attempting to break into it or by submitting false orders.

9. Links to other sites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we link to.

10. Disclaimer and limit of liability. The site and products are provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Tallow Roots is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

11. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable US law.

12. Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to orders placed after it is posted.
